Carmen has a wealth of project experience, working with the Planning and Sustainability Branch and the Program Management Branch at the California High-Speed Rail Authority. Her advisory experience spans over 14 years, liaising with high-level government officials for high-profile transportation projects in California and Puerto Rico. She also has commercial experience in the manufacturing sector having worked for Siemens' light rail and locomotive vehicles division in Sacramento, CA, managing projects totalling $124m at different production stages.
Carmen also volunteers as a transportation planner with non-profit community organizations based in Sacramento.
